What is the Professional Year Program?

The Professional Year Program (PYP) is an Australian Government initiative designed to assist international student graduates in nominated professional industries kick start their career in Australia.

It provides an additional pathway from study to employment in Australia through:

Part-time professional development workshop training
An 18-week professional internship placement

Participants who successfully complete the PYP may also be awarded points under the Australian Government's Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC) General Skilled Migration points test.
