ICTE-UQ is accredited by NEAS (National ELT Accreditation Scheme), is a member of the National ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Association, English Australia, and is government registered. TEACHING ICTE-UQ employs a teaching staff of qualified and experienced language instructors with diverse teaching and educational backgrounds. A computer laboratory is used for teaching during class hours and is available for individual student use outside class times. EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING Presentations by guest speakers, excursions, films etc. are organised to give students the opportunity to learn about various aspects of Australia and an end-of-session BBQ/function is arranged for students as part of the regular English programs (General English, AECS, EAP, EIBC, ESP:TESOL and ESP:BEP). Some evening and weekend sporting and social activities are arranged outside class hours by the Activities Officer. These activities are self-funded by students. In addition to the regular intensive full-time English courses, ICTE-UQ offers English language training and Study Tour programs to groups of overseas students and professionals. ICTE-UQ has the flexibility to custom design group programs to meet the requirements of the client institution or organisation. CLASS SIZE Class sizes range from 12-18, with an average class size of 13-14 students. All course materials are provided during class, although students are required to purchase a recommended learner's English dictionary.
